On Remembrance Day it is traditionally a time for remembering all those who have served in the Armed Forces and made the ultimate sacrifice.
In my direct family history there is only 1 person I have found so far who served his country and did not come home:
Harry Walter Hills who died in 1917 in France.
We have a team meeting today at work, however our Manager has decided that we will be having a ‘Comfort Break’ between 10:50 & 11:10 so that anyone can take part in the silence.
As for me, well I will take my self off to a quiet corner of the building and just think about Harry Walter and all the other thousands (if not millions) who have given their life for this country.
We will remember them.
