WOYWW - 16 May 2012

Many thanks to those who left comments on last weeks 'Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday' post.  I featured a photo of my desk from a different angle, which prompted many comments.

I can reveal that no ladders, steps or other VPED (Vertical Position Enhancement Device) was used LOL - it was just little me!

So this week I took the same photo again, but this time asked DH to take a photo of me taking the photo - are you confused yet???

Photo taken by me

Photo of me taking the Photo above :)
All I did was to hold the camera above my head, although it did take a couple of pictures before I got one I was happy with.

So what is actually on my desk... Well have I my latest CD 'If flowers could talk' that has not made it onto the shelf yet, the box of Mica powers & the folder beside it (containing the Memory Box die) is ready for the Crop this evening.  then you will find some scraps of 'Watercolour Paper' that I was just playing with - but I was not very happy with the outcome :(.  Finally at the end of the desk is a pile of completed cards, just waiting to be put away in either the box for me to keep or the box to be sold/given to charity.

So quite a busy desk - & Many thanks to DH for his help with the photos :)

  1. Well my goodness, you are even creative when it comes to taking a photo of the place you create. And, do you see your creations differently like this? :) #100

  2. Lol, that is an interesting angle, I think I've got vertigo!! The second photo puts me in mind of James Joyce.... as in A Portrait of The Artist As A Young Man!! Alright, back to my lunch.

  3. Blimey! I love that you got OH to take a pic of you! That's fab, great desk too, I feel calmer knowing you weren't climbing chairs! Take care & enjoy WOYWW, working my way through the list as usual! Zo xx 66

  4. Lovely space - great way to take photos!

  5. Looks like you have a lot of fun at that desk! The things we do for WOYWW!!!

  6. I like the angle of your shot, from above. I love the picture of you taking the picture. As I suspected, you are taller than me so hence, a better vantage point than I could achieve. I love seeing your desk and the room around you-lots of great things to play with in there.

  7. Great angle shot, last week I thought you were standing on ladders (lol) you have a fabulous creative desk Helen... Have a good week, Hugs May x x x#26

  8. Aw, funny! I do the same but just extend my arm..don't even go to the trouble of holding it over my head!! How nice of DH to indulge you!! That MBox die is just lovely...and I wonder what you planned to do with it at the crop?!

  9. Now that is really funny, you do manage to come up with the quirky way of doing things, can't wait to see what you do next week LOL It is a fantastic shot and here I was thinking you are really tall. LOL

    Happy crafting.
